A new shipment of books is due next week--please continue to place orders and as they come in I will send them asap.
I wanted to share with you two wonderful reviews....one is from a very kind soul, who happens to be an author, himself. The other is from one of my sibling's friends. All I can say is WOW and THANK YOU!
"I just finished reading Lee Ann Blankenship’s memoir “I’m not Lucky, I’m Blessed”. The story is a medical drama with rollercoaster rides of her beloved children’s lives repeatedly hanging by threads and fights for survival that are impossible to adequately describe. Lee Ann brings the reader into the room and into the midst of powerful emotions…like deep excruciating despair in the worst of times but also sparkling mountaintop JOYS when the beast HLH is on the run. Even more, this is a powerful tale of incredible steadfast FAITH and extraordinary LOVE. This love is not simply the unconditional love of mother and child but also the deep abiding and inspiring love between husband and wife through unimaginable trials. Even in the worst of times, Lee Ann somehow manages to convey the one glorious overriding theme of her story. HOPE is clearly the aura surrounding Lee Ann and Dennis as they give up their personal lives and any other dreams and give everything to their five precious children. Thanks Lee Ann for sharing your FAITH, JOY, LOVE and HOPE."

"I knew a bit of the back story of what went on with Kristin as Holly and I buddied around quite a bit back then, so I was immediately drawn in to the story line. What kept me sucked in was your writing style. You write like you talk, so as I read, it was almost like I had you narrating the scene in my head. A Morgan Freeman shawshank redemption type thing. What surprised me is the amount of judgement I passed. Not in a mean spirited way, but let me explain. I am not a germ fearing kinda mom, and I always got a kick of your germ fears, even poked fun at you a time or two. I will never ever do that again. In this book, I was put in your shoes in that little isolation room with the three of you. You successfully took your readers to that place and made them walk in your shoes if just for that moment. I felt fear as I read...trepidation at how the bills were going to get paid, relief when the news was good, rejection when it was bad. If your goal was to take us along on this journey with you, then huge success! I would recommend this read to anyone who is looking for encouragement, resolve, family, love and God. Well done Lee Ann!"
